Attn: Viagra…MLB needs wood. Still soft on ‘roid users.

August 5th, 2013 · No Comments

Ridiculous. Baseball is still going soft on steroid users. It seems they only care and take action when there is incontrovertible evidence. ¬†And even then they hand out light punishment. Pete Rose was banned for life for gambling. Using steroids is cheating…and it’s a hell of a lot worse for the game’s reputation, stats and history than Pete Rose’s gambling addiction was.

These guys get a handful of games and then come back and get offered big contracts.

Check out the last paragraph of this article:

“Toronto outfielder Melky Cabrera, who was suspended 50 games during last season while leading the National League in batting for the San Francisco Giants, got a two-year, $16 million deal from the Blue Jays before this season — a raise from his one-year, $6 million contract with San Francisco.”

If MLB was serious about this issue, they would ban them all for life. Then they’d be cleaning up the sport.
